Hi, I'm Maya Jones and I'm a level 10 gymnast at Texas Best Gymnastics in McKinney, TX. I started gymnastics when I was very young, attending daycare while my parents worked. After my dad taught me how to do a backhand spring, I fell in love with the sport. My competitive spirit provides the motivation and determination I need to moving the needle forward. Much of my success has been influenced by my family, friends, and coaches. I am a Senior in High School who attends Frisco Independence.
During the 2021 season, I earned a spot to compete at the upcoming National Championship. My long-term goal is to earn a full ride collegiate scholarship! I'm going to continue training so I can build upon my prior experience. This will help me confidently compete at the next level possible.
